Basketball Spring Recreation League

Minimum of 6 Games guaranteed (likely will be 7)

Games will be played on Saturdays

Vetted and Trained Volunteer Head Coaches

1.5 Hours of Practice Time a Week in a permitted outdoor court or indoor gym (timing to be discussed with your head coach)

OC Players high quality jersey with your daughter’s name on the back

All player stats (points, assists, rebounds, steals) and box scores tracked and posted on our site

Music during games (warmups, timeouts, etc.)

End of Season Awards (MVP, Best Defensive Player, Best Teammate, etc.)

Season Ending Celebrations (Coach’s Game, Mom’s Game) + Season Closing Event with the LA Sparks

Games will be 40 minutes long with clock stoppages for free throws and in last 2 minutes of the game 

Each player will be guaranteed at a minimum 20 minutes of playing time per game, no more than 8 players per team

Player evaluations will be conducted by OC Players League Staff and teams will be set by staff / coaches to ensure competitiveness

Friend and coach request can be made, but are not guaranteed

Volunteer coaches will be approved only upon interview and their daughter’s registration charge will be waived

Trades may be made halfway through season if there is any imbalance in roster competitiveness and upon approval from league
